4-H overnight and day camps offer recreational, educational, and career exploration opportunities. Nebraska 4-H offers summer camps for youth ages 5-18 and Big Red Summer Academic Camps for youth in grades 10-12.

4-H clubs are organized groups that meet regularly to focus on a series of educational experiences. Regular membership is available for youth ages 8-18. Youth ages 5-7 may also join as Clover Kid members.

Afterschool groups meet between 3-6 PM to offer youth a safe, fun, and educational experiences through hands-on activities and 4-H curriculum. Some 4-H afterschool programs are also considered 4-H clubs.

Tumbleweeds Awarded 4-H Club of the Month

Congratulations to the Tumbleweeds 4-H Club for being awarded the Nebraska 4-H Club of the Month! The Tumbleweeds 4-H Club is a diverse group consisting of 14 members, and together, they strive for excellence in community service. Earlier this year, the Club made blankets and distribute them to the homeless following natural disaster that hit Nebraska. Club members delivered the blankets to individuals and families in need.

This month, we would like to congratulate the Sterling Livestock 4-H Club from Johnson County for being awarded the Nebraska 4-H Club of the month! Community service is a significant part of 4-H, and the Sterling Livestock 4-H Club holds this as an important part of its activities.
