Ag Innovators Experience

The Ag Innovators Experience, sponsored by National 4-H Council and Bayer, helps develop critical workforce skill in young people and show that agriculture can be relevant and fun. This annual interactive activity challenges young people to apply critical thinking and STEM skills to a real-world agricultural challenge. The program reaches more than 7,000 youth in five select states with an annual interactive activity that challenges youth to apply critical thinking and STEM skills to address a real-world agriculture challenge. 

Protect the Plate

The 2024 4-H Ag Innovators Experience, Protect the Plate, explores how different technologies have transformed agriculture and how farmers, government and consumers must continue to innovate, learn, and adopt to grow more food in a sustainable manner while focusing on food safety.

Teen Leaders

Local Facilitators

Local Facilitators lead Ag Innovator experiences in their communities across the state. They participate in state training led by State Facilitators prior to leading Ag Innovator Experiences.

Nebraska 4-H is seeking 20+ teens, ages 13 and older, to serve as Local Facilitators.

Applications are due Nov. 22, 2023 (deadline extended to January 15, 2024).

Training will be held in February.
